Dallas County Tax Offices Move To New Location

The Grand Prairie and Irving Branches of the Dallas County Tax Office will relocate to the new Grand Prairie Government Center at 106 West Church Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050.  This new facility will serve the citizens in the western part of Dallas County including the cities of Grand Prairie, Irving and West Dallas.  The last business day for the current Irving office is Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

“I am proud to have a Tax Office Branch in this new facility and pleased that the Commissioner’s Court recognized the need for this Government Center in the western part of Dallas County”, stated John R. Ames, Dallas County Tax Assessor/Collector.

In addition to our branches offices and as an added convenience, we are pleased that 84 participating businesses also offer current vehicle registrations.  For a list of these businesses and locations, visit our website at dallascounty.org.  The Dallas County Tax Office’s Customer Care Center at 214-653-7811 is available to assist you with property tax and motor vehicle registration questions Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  All Dallas County Tax Office locations are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to assist citizens with property tax payments and motor vehicle registrations and titles.
