DALLAS COUNTY ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE.

THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 22.02 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $29.08.

All payments for low cost County Bond must be paid at the bond desk at Lew Sterrett Justice Center - 111 W. Commerce Street, Dallas, TX 75208.

Bond Fees

If a defendant is released on Pretrial Services Bond by the Pretrial Services Office, a fee will be assessed as indicated in Section 17.42 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.  The personal bond fee is $20 or three percent of the amount of the bond, whichever is greater.

Alcohol Monitoring Fees

Defendants ordered to install an Ignition Interlock Device on their vehicle and to report to Pretrial Services for verification and monitoring must pay a $10 monthly monitoring fee. The preferred payment method is online here. Alternate payment methods are in person by cash and money order.
