Procedures for Dumpster Requests

Facilities Dispatch - Hours of Operation:  Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (excluding holidays)

All dumpster requests or concerns must be submitted to Facilities.Dispatch@dallascounty.org ONLY.  Requests sent directly to any one person will not be processed. Requests or concerns include:

  • moves
  • swaps
  • emptying
  • removals
  • construction
  • metal
  • adds, etc.

Once your request is received at the above e-mail, you will receive a work order number and a Facilities Management staff member of will follow up with you to resolve the request. 

The following information is required. Please include it as well as any supporting photos related to the request or concern - i.e. the location a dumpster should be placed or overflowing trash. 

  1. Requestor Name
  2. Service street address
  3. Contact cell/landline
  4. Hours of operation
  5. Is there a gate?
    • If so, what is the number driver needs to call?
    • Is it on the dock?
  6. Type of container (waste, metal etc)
  7. Size of container (8 or more)
  8. Pictures related to request/concern (if applicable)
  9. Any additional information related to the request
