The Dallas County Health and Human Services Sexual Health Clinic

**In order to help protect you from COVID-19 we have taken measures in the clinic to ensure that everyone can stay at least 6 feet apart. For your safety, we require that you call us at (214) 819-1819 to schedule an appointment before you come to the clinic. We are not currently offering walk-in services. We are only making same day appointments (call us the morning you are able to visit us). When you call us, please understand that we will need to ask you some questions before we can set up an appointment for you**

*** You will need to wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth (a cloth covering like a bandana is also ok) while you are in the DCHHS building and the clinic***

We are currently making appointments for people who have:

- Current symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection

- Recent diagnosis of syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, or trichomonas at another clinic, but not able to get treatment yet

- People who are living with HIV and need to find a clinic for treatment

- People who have a sex partner who recently tested positive for HIV, Syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia or trichomonas

- We are now offering PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis), please let us know during your appointment if you have questions about PrEP or think it might be right for you.

- If you are looking for PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) we can help you get connected with this service.

** Beginning 10/10/2020, we will offer a limited number of appointments each day for testing only (you have no symptoms, you just want to have routine testing done for hiv, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and trich)**

Please note that we do not perform routine herpes testing or long term management, nor do we provide pap smears. We can help you find low-cost resources for these services, just ask us more about it

Please do not bring children or partners with you to the clinic at this time.
If you test positive for an infection, please have your partner call us on their own to arrange for their treatment after you have been evalauted.
Please understand that these measures limiting our services and requiring appointments are in place to protect the health of you and the entire community.

If you come to the clinic and do not have an appointment, you will be asked to step outside the clinic, and call us on the phone at (214) 819-1819. If you do not have a phone, please tell us.
