2014 Property Tax Statements Mailed.
The Dallas County 2014 property tax statements are in the mail! “We are delighted to provide timely tax statements to the citizens of Dallas County for the sixth year in a row. The citizens of Dallas County deserve that kind of service. This allows taxpayers the maximum amount of time to plan and make their payments on time,” stated John R. Ames, Dallas County Tax Assessor/Collector. When Mr. Ames took office in 2009, he brought a renewed awareness and sense of urgency to the Tax Office from mailing statements timely, creating efficiencies using innovative technology and providing multiple convenient payment methods for the citizens of Dallas County.
The 2014 property taxes are due by January 31, 2015, and the Dallas County Tax Office is pleased to offer citizens several easy-to-use payment channels to make their property tax payments. Pay online, don’t stand in line! Pay on the website at www.dallascounty.org/tax using MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit and debit cards. Citizens may also pay property taxes by telephone through JP Morgan Chase Bank at 866-863-8323 (English) or 866-361-1741 (Español). Online, in- person and telephone credit and debit payments are subject to Chase Bank convenience fees. Online eChecks are made with no additional charges. As always, payments mailed timely or paid in person at any of the eight tax office locations will be accepted. As a friendly reminder, if requested by the mortgage company, a complete tax statement was sent to them and an informational postcard was mailed to the property owner in lieu of a duplicate tax statement.

We look forward to serving the needs of the citizens of Dallas County.”
