I am privileged to serve as your County Commissioner for District 2. As your Commissioner, I have the responsibility and the duty to ensure Dallas County stakeholders receive honest, fair and proactive county representation.
District 2 represents the entire cities of Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Farmers Branch, Highland Park, Rowlett, Sachse and University Park. It also includes portions of Dallas, Garland, and Richardson.
Dallas County recognizes the week of April 22nd through April 28th, 2012, as Dallas County Crime Victims' Rights Week. Today, thousands of victim assistance programs provide help and support to child victims of violence and sexual abuse; stalking victims; survivors of homicide victims; victims of drunk-driving crashes; and victims of domestic, dating, and sexual violence and other crimes. It is important to spread the word in hopes that every victim can be reached and advised of their access to the help they deserve.
