On November 13, 2012, the Texas Supreme Court implemented a uniform set of forms to be used by litigants pursuing uncontested divorces that do not involve children. These forms were developed and recommended by the Uniform Task Force appointed by the court. Although litigants are not required to use these forms, the trial courts of Texas are required to permit their use.
