19 COURT ORDER:  Extending the professional/personal service contracts with experts Dr. Ronald Shansky, Dr. Jeffrey L. Metzner, Dr. Michael Puisis, Leonard Rice (Rice Consulting Services), Catherine Knox and Madeleine LaMarre for the purpose of inspecting, evaluating and monitoring Dallas County’s jails and jail health programs, with funding from monies budgeted for County-wide consulting, under the same contract terms and conditions, for an additional period, effective February 1, 2011 and ending November 30, 2012.

21 COURT ORDER:  Authorizing: deletion of four (4) positions; reclassification of eight (8) positions; changing the job title of five (5) positions; modifying job descriptions as necessary; authorizing the Human Resources Administrator and Personnel Analyst in the Health and Human Services Department to be funded for the remainder of the year; authorizing the Human Resources/Civil Service Department review the classification of positions providing human resource functions to the District Clerk, County Clerk and Health and Human Services Departments.  Approved by all members present

23 COURT ORDER:  Adopting the outlined “Dallas County Policy on Transparency”, that it shall govern the various operations of Dallas County, and that it shall be implemented and administered in the manner as outlined.  Approved by all members present
24 COURT ORDER:  Approving Amendment No. 2 to the Agreement between Dallas County and TRAC/CitySquare, formerly Central Dallas Ministries, for the Post-Foster Care Housing Program so the Program can be extended through December 31, 2011 or until the $27,897.29 remaining for this program is expended, whichever comes first, and authorizing the County Judge to sign said Amendment.  Approved by all members present
25 COURT ORDER:  Authorizing Dallas County Commissioners Court and the Dallas County District Attorney jointly select the Law Office of J. Gerald Hebert, PC to provide specific redistricting-related legal services as defined in the outlined attorney fee contract, at a fee not to exceed $250,000 (plus $25,000 for various out-of-pocket expenses), that funding for these legal services and expenses will be provided from 120.9910.02430, and authorizing the District Attorney’s Office to sign the outlined contract for said services.  Approved by all members present

Hayes, Jr., and any and all owners and claimants of the property rights and interests in and to a certain parcel of land as described and identified in Exhibit “A”, to purchase 1,552 square feet of Permanent Easement, improvements and cost to cure at the compensation amount of $7,569.00; (2) a settlement increase in the amount of $1,242.00 be paid to compensate Property Owner for additional fence request to meet City of DeSoto fence standard for this project, to be reimbursed 100% by the City of DeSoto; (3) authorizing the County Judge and Commissioners to execute the outlined Contract Agreement and any other documents to consummate this transaction and; (4) authorizing the County Treasurer to remit payment in the not to exceed amount of $8,811.00, to be paid from fund 0196, project 08201.
