Sheriff's Bridge to Communities
"Addressing crime from the inside out."

Vision: This organization will provide a bridge between the communities and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office to aid in creating a safe, encouraging environment conducive to promoting healthy behaviors and increase the quality of life for all citizens.

Mission: This organization seeks to interrupt the cycle of violence and criminal activity detrimental to the development of healthy behaviors and quality of life for the citizens of Dallas County.

This non-profit helps fund programs such as:

These programs will help the recidivism rate by giving inmate job training and life skills.

This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is funded entirely from private donations.

  • The Sheriff's Bridge to Communities is a non-profit 501(c)(3) established in 2006 not associated with “The Bridge” homeless shelter.
  • The bridge is seeking sponsors and underwriters to fund the recognition awards banquet.
  • The first award ceremony was held at The Omni Hotel on March 15, 2013.
  • As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, The Sheriff's Bridge to Communities donates a charitable contribution to our Annual Joseph Bryant Christmas in the community.
