With a distance of almost seven miles, Campion Trails North  is the longest continuous trail in Irving and one of the longest in the Dallas area.  Funded by both Dallas County and the City of Irving, the twelve-foot-wide trail extends from the Valley Ranch planned development community to Las Colinas (which contains the corporate headquarters of several Fortune 500 firms) and provides people with the opportunity to safely run, walk, skate, or bike to work.  The trail also winds in and out of trees, offers views of the Trinity River, and features drinking fountains, covered picnic pavilions, and three separate paved parking lots along the way.
