Minimum standards for all applicants

• Must be a United States citizen or alien authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must provide a copy of a High School Diploma from an accredited senior high school or equivalent, a state-issued General Education Development (GED) certificate, college degree and/or original, official college transcript
• Must be able to work an 8 hour shift between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday thru Thursday and 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on Friday
• Must not be on probation for any criminal offense
• Must not have any pending charges for any criminal offense or have any outstanding warrants
• Must never have been convicted of a felony
• Must never have been convicted of a drug-related offense
• Cannot have had a Class A or B misdemeanor conviction within the past 5 years
• Must pass a Dallas County physical exam
• Must pass a TCIC and NCIC criminal background investigation
