The 3.6-mile trail on the side of Mesquite that is west of I-635 is located in a residential area south of Highway 80 and west of Gross Road and is a major component of the City's Westover Park.  The trail provides access to picnic areas, ball fields, and playgrounds and features an elevated boardwalk.  Portions of the trail are heavily shaded.  The trail also has access to on-street parking and to several parking areas.
