To parents of school-aged children:
Dallas County Health and Human Services would like to remind you that state law requires school-aged children to be immunized before they are allowed to attend classes at the beginning of each school year.
DCHHS realizes the importance of maximizing a student’s time in the classroom. Children should not miss out on valuable learning opportunities with their teacher and classmates because they are lacking the immunizations they need for enrollment.
It is our department’s goal that you get your child immunized as soon as possible. DCHHS recommends that you visit one of our clinic locations before the annual back–to–school rush.
DCHHS Offers the vaccines your child may need for school at no cost, depending on eligibility, or at a low cost. In this letter, we have included the location, hours of operation and phone numbers of our clinics in Dallas County.
For more information regarding school vaccine requirements, please visit dallascounty.org/hhs.
This fall, don’t let your child’s seat in class be left empty. Get your children the vaccinations they need for school now.
Visit one of DCHHS’ clinic locations: Appointments are not necessary.
We serve children 18 years and younger.
$10 first visit; $5 subsequent visits
No child will be denied services.
