Court Order:  Accepting payment of $1,912.78 from USAA Insurance Company for their insured, Angela Dunn, as settlement of property damage sustained by Dallas County on or about October 13, 2010, and authorizing the County Judge to execute any and all documents approved by the District Attorney's Civil Division to effectuate this settlement.

Court Order:  Authorizing the second twelve (12) month extension of (Bid No. 2009-033-4182 – Annual Contract for the Purchase of Medical and Industrial Gases) as awarded to Matheson Tri-Gas for the period of February 28, 2011 through February 27, 2012, in accordance with the terms, conditions and pricing set forth, and authorizing all County documents/payments to reflect accordingly.

Court Order:  Authorizing the final extension of (Bid No. 2009-038-4220 – Annual Contract for Inspections and/or Service of Fire Alarm Systems and Related Equipment) with PAC Systems for the period of April 7, 2011 through April 6, 2012, and authorizing all County documents/payments to reflect accordingly.

Court Order:  Authorizing the award of Item No. 20 (3-compartment trays) of Bid No. 2011-002-5248 – Annual Contract for Food Service Utensils and Related Supplies, to the lowest and best bidder, (Cook’s Direct, Inc.) based on an estimated total amount of $45,900.00 for the period of February 1, 2011 through November 15, 2011, and authorizing all County documents/payments to reflect accordingly.

Court Order:  Authorizing the award of (Bid No. 2011-032-5406 – Annual Contract for Janitorial Services for the Health and Human Services Building to the vendor for the amount and time period as determined by the bid opening held on January 31, 2011.

Court Order:  Approving the District’s offers to purchase the tax foreclosure properties at 3118 Birmingham Avenue, 2717 Clarence Street, and 3714 San Jacinto Street in Dallas, Texas, for the market values specified in the respective judgments and since the sale and disbursement of the proceeds (as outlined in Attachment A), conforms to Chapter 34(h) and 34.06 of the Property Tax Code, statutory consent is not required, therefore, the County’s Public Need Policy (Court Order 2000-1423) is not applicable and is hereby waived; and rescinding Court Order No. 2010-395 (3/2/10) consenting to the sale of the property at 3714 San Jacinto, Dallas, to the District.

Court Order:  Authorizing the Purchasing Department to solicit from the public, sealed bids pursuant to Request for Bid No. 2011-038-5432, for the sale of certain tax foreclosed properties identified in the Notice of Tax Sale (Exhibit “A”) and to advertise said Notice in the Dallas Morning News only, on February 7 and 14, 2011, in accordance with Section 34.05 (a) and (i) of the Property Tax Code and Chapter 62, Division 4 of the Dallas County Code (Court Order 2004-630, amended 2011-141); and approving the schedule of minimum bid/offer amounts as outlined on Exhibit “B”.

Court Order:  Authorizing and directing the County Judge to execute Work Order No. 8 for Lawson Road from US 80 to Scyene Road, MCIP #22604, in the amount not to exceed $15,113.08 which will be paid from Fund 196, Project 8201.
