SCPRP serves individuals who currently live or work in the service region, or who have lived or worked in the service region while earning their pension.
Transfer on Death Deed Project
The Transfer on Death Deed project provides free legal services to low-income Texas property owners who wish to transfer their real property to heirs without the need for probate. The deed serves to unify title and to avoid the court costs associated with probate. Under current law, the deed also serves to exempt the property from Medicaid estate recovery.
