Letot Residential treatment Center
The Letot Residential Treatment Center strives to empower neglected and exploited girls to be productive, caring and responsible citizens by providing them a safe environment for long-term residential care by offering gender specific programming to girls who are identified as high-risk runaways or domestic trafficked minors. This is a long term, six to nine months, therapeutic residential facility that serves post-adjudicated girls who are between 13 to 17 years old. While living in a healthy and supportive environment, the young ladies will build self-esteem and personal skills, using a wide array of therapeutic and social services, to successfully reintroduce them to the Dallas County community.
The Letot Residential Treatment Center recognizes that the issues plaguing these young ladies is not limited to Dallas County but encompasses a regional footprint. Dallas County Juvenile Department will accept post-adjudicated girls under the supervision of other Texas counties who are in need of this gender specific treatment as space allows. Counties may find this sample contract helpful as they pursue the option to send clients to the Letot Residential Treatment Center.
